I was just wondering the other day,
Why our lives are so dull
Struggling to make ends meet
Why can't we just walk on the road to freedom
Trying to reach those goals,
Ones that we didn't even accept
We give up what we truly want
And end up having nothing at all
I'd love to go on long road trips
Seeing new places along the way
Meeting new people, making new friends
But alas life isn't as easy as it may appear
So I'm sitting here thinking what I can do
Yet nothing at all seems to solve my problems
And so I continue to think about where I could've been
Had such a life not been my destiny
