I always thought life was meant to be lived alone
I always thought my pains were only my own
And so I lived with these feelings within my heart
Until I met you and I had a whole new start

Life to me was all about loneliness and pain
It had no happiness and there was nothing to gain
But then I met you and you took away my despair
Giving me your faith and showing how life can be fair

Lost in my own world, my thoughts were clouded
Left all alone, my feelings were shrouded
But then I met you and I could no longer conceal
Because you see right through me, you know how I feel

Anguish and fear were like my soul mates
Depression and sorrow were my only mind states
Agony and suffering were part of my fate
I had lost all hope while being consumed by hate...
